for the swimmers and those who watch the swimmers, those who would go under water only to emerge on the other side of the pool.
This for me is the same as meeting people and having a positive impact on their lives only to disappear and emerge later. The thing about this emergence is whether you are better than how you were when you went under, whether in your disappearance you learned what was supposed to be learned.
will those that saw you go under be proud to tell those that will only see you when you emerge from down under stories of how you once changed their lives. Or will it be a first for everyone. You don’t need to be the one telling your story, let others tell people about you.
Well, going under may not be a choice, but there is a reason, you best identify when it is that time and use it wisely, you may not even know when the time to emerge will be. In the pool analogy, the lungs may not allow you, maybe you will not have taken enough air before you went in, but in all this what matters is whether when you emerge again, you will be better than when you went under.
Let your story be told, be surprised by these stories as you become so used to doing good that you stop noticing. And yes they will be there.
what will they say about you?
But just be careful that you choose whether you swim in the pool or the ocean.
